Cadillac's lineup of luxury sedans continues the legacy of their luxury rather large DeVille and Eldorado sedans of years gone by. Well gone is the chrome extravagance of that era to be replaced by the modern lineup of sporty sedans proudly wearing the iconic Cadillac crest.
Shoppers who have a midsize luxury sedan firmly in their sights will do well, in fact, very well, to take a closer look at what this iconic American brand has to offer.
The Cadillac CT5 nameplate has been around since the end of 2019 and has spawned the performance V series lineup of the CT5 and the stupendously fast CT5 Blackwing model.
The subject of our article is the great value-for-money 2025 Cadillac CT5 lineup, so continue reading as we look in detail at what the latest 2025 CT5 has in store for buyers.
What's New for 2025?
Cadillac's midsize luxury sedan has received a facelift for the 2025 model year that debuted at the North American International Detroit Auto Show in 2023.
This facelift changed the front fascia, grille, and the CT5's interior. The CT5's infotainment system saw the most significant upgrades for 2025.
Further revisions for 2025 are to the safety and driver assistance features, plus adding two new colors: Deep Space Metallic and Typhoon Metallic.
Modern Exterior
The exterior of the bold and aggressively styled 2025 Cadillac CT5 deviates from the typical three-box design that is common to the sedan body configuration and shows off a striking fastback rear window line to offer onlookers a very sporting and elegant side profile.
Up front, Cadillac's designers have endowed the front fascia with an aggressively large front grille and revised lighting elements with stacked IntelliBeam LED headlamps that feature light pipes that channel and disperse vibrant light in dramatic ways, resulting in elegant signature elements that are visible both at daytime and in the night, and vertical LED daytime running light treatment.
The front fascia of the 2025 CT5 lineup includes LED front lamp turn signals that engage the cornering lamps at speeds above 35 mph, upper and lower active aero shutters that automatically close at high speeds to help enhance aerodynamics and reopen at lower speeds or when needed to help cool the engine compartment.
At the rear, LED tail lamps with red outer lenses feature a sculpted red crystalline lens that is integrated into the CT5 design to catch the attention of those following the CT5.
Further exterior trim features are body-color heated, power-adjustable, and manual-folding outside mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming and integrated turn signal indicators.
Some standout exterior specifications include:
- Acoustic-laminated windshield glass
- Solar-absorbing glass
- Acoustic laminated side glass
- Rainsense automatic wipers with intermittent function
- Bright-accented LED illuminating outside door handles
- Capless Fuel Fill
- Tow hook
The 2025 CT5 lineup is available in a choice of nine exterior paint colors.
