Riding on a wheelbase of 112.7 inches, the exterior of the 2025 Cadillac XT6 measures 198.8 inches long, 77.3 inches wide and reaches a height of 69.9 inches to accommodate all seven passengers in comfort.
Befitting the brand's legendary luxury and powerful motoring, the exterior design of the 2025 XT6 sports an exterior design that is easily recognizable as coming from the Cadillac stable.
The XT6 features a bold and square aesthetic with plentiful crease lines and a particularly stylish front end.

The base turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine makes 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and features automatic Stop/Start technology with disable function and the second option is a more powerful 310 horsepower 3.6 liter V6 engine with 271 pound-feet of torque that also features automatic Stop/Start with disable.Â

EPA estimates that the base front-wheel-drive four-cylinder XT6's fuel economy is 21 mpg for city and 27 mpg for highway driving, with the all-wheel drive option dropping the highway fuel economy value down to 26 mpg.
Buyers opting for the V6 engine fitment will be happy to note that the cost for more power is not too steep, with these variants offering EPA estimates of 19/26 mpg city/highway and adding AWD reduces the mpg by one, respectively.
2025 Cadillac XT6 Drivetrain and Handling
All three of the 2025 Cadillac XT6 trims make use of the standard nine-speed automatic transmission featuring electronically controlled transmission shifting with overdrive and gear range selection for smooth and effortless automatic shifting.
Luxury and Premium Luxury XT6 trims are available in front-wheel drive or in all-wheel drive, while the top-of-range Sport trim is only available as an AWD model.
The XT6 rides on a chassis with real-time damping suspension that seamlessly adjusts to road conditions by adjusting damping forces every two milliseconds. MacPherson strut coil spring front suspension fitted with a large stabilizer bar is standard, along with side-load-compensated front strut modules, and at the rear is an independent 5-link rear suspension.
All trims also offer Driver Mode Selector modes, allowing the XT6 to adapt better to the driver's preferences and changing road conditions. Drive modes are dependent on the trim, with FWD models offering Touring Snow/Ice and Sport.
XT6 trims fitted with AWD will be equipped with the Touring mode in FWD, AWD, Off-Road and Sport. The AWD system is disconnected from the drivetrain when the driver selects Touring mode to provide improved fuel economy when road conditions don't call for the extra traction of AWD.
