What's New for 2025?
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ was introduced in 2024. The American public got the chance to order their own Escalade IQ in late 2024. With this in mind, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is entirely brand new.
Impressive Exterior
The IQ was designed as a modern full-size EV, featuring impressive modern architecture. The new design endows the Escalade IQ with a body that is a whopping 224.3 inches long, riding on a wheelbase of 136.2 inches. The Escalade IQ is 94.1 inches wide, including the side mirrors, and stands 76.1 inches tall.
The Escalade IQ offers an imposing front-end view with either a luxury front grille with Galvano accents or a Sport illuminated grille with Obsidian accents, depending on the trim. The front grille and front emblem both illuminate to lead you to your vehicle in the dark, all contributing to a dramatic and contemporary front end.
The adaptive forward lighting headlamps with IntelliBeam function feature LEDs and signature vertical lighting that automatically adapts to different types of roads and environments. LED front cornering lamps are fitted across the range.
All four trims feature a panoramic fixed glass sunroof that spans both the front and second rows, which is tinted and UV-treated for maximum comfort. The power hood conveniently opens and closes at the push of a button on the instrument panel.
The outside mirrors are heated and power-adjustable, power-folding with integrated turn signal indicators and puddle lamps. The driver-side mirror offers auto-dimming. Entry into and exiting your Escalade IQ is made easier with the integrated assist steps that also feature integrated traction pads to help keep footing secure.
A very nifty safety feature of the all-electric Escalade IQ is the exterior audio vehicle sound that allows other road users, particularly pedestrians, to hear the Escalade IQ approaching.
At the rear, an AutoSense power liftgate with a memory height function allows you to program how high the gate opens. Owners can also press the liftgate open button on the key fob or use the interior or exterior release buttons. Convenient electronic obstacle detection will reverse the automatic opening or closing if it senses something in its path, preventing damage to the liftgate. Further notable features at the rear are the LED taillamps with choreography capability, all adding to the dramatic exterior design.

The standard powertrain is a dual motor system producing a whopping 750 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque powered by a 24-module battery pack. Five drive modes are standard.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life
Cadillac estimates a maximum 460-mile range on a single charge from the advanced lithium-ion model with over 200 kWh of energy storage. A dual-level charge cord offers flexible at-home charging, connecting to Level 1 (120-volt) or 19.2 kW Level 2 (240-volt) charging for a range of 22-36.5 miles/hour. DC Fast-Charge Time offers 100 miles per 10 minutes.
2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ Drivetrain and Handling
The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ drivetrain features front and rear electric motors to create an AWD drivetrain. Four-wheel steering and an Air Ride Adaptive suspension with magnetic ride control help provide a softer ride compared to traditional suspension while also enabling control of the vehicle's height to lower the vehicle when shifted to Park, improving ease of exit/entry.
